FAMILY TEAM BUILDING

Team Building and Motivation is not for Students or Corporate Employees only, but for families. We have a package for families, where we take a single or group of families on an Adventure and Team Building trip in our lovely Resorts.

We all know that a team that knows and accepts one another can do more than a team of highly professional individuals. Families included. Why go on a dry holiday trip, when you can come with us to ignite your adventurous hearts. We assure you, you will never be the same again.

CAMPER MOTIVATION

Camps are a platform for those who are in cocoons to come out and become butterflies. As children mingle with one another in an "unfamiliar environment", they tend to show their true colors, helping them to reach out to other children. In our camping environments, everyone is equal and treated that way. This allows campers to realise that they are not alone in the things they go through everyday. They hence become more open and hopeful.

Insecurity, fear and anxiety are dealt with as we go through the day and night events. Change for a child can be in the form of watching others at meal time. Written by Oscar Manduku (Volunteer).

GET INVOLVED

As a trust run organisation we kindly request for your assistance in any way possible. We welcome donations of sporting equipment, stationary, bulk food supplies and fuel for trips, amongst many other necessities. For more of our requirements, please contact our offices. Your help is greatly appreciated.

SAFETY AT CAMPS

We make it a point that each leader takes care of at most 10 campers. This reduces the risk of accidents, in that each leader is able to move around and monitor a manageable group. We always have a qualified First Aid person at every camp and school event.

We teach our campers basic firs aid at every camp, to reduce accidents risk. We have at least one life saver at the pool side, per ten campers, and make it a point to forbid camper to swim unattended. Our first aid kit is restocked before and after camp.

To ensure safety, every leader tries out the activity before allowing their group to follow, e.g. Camo Game, Abseiling, and Wall Climbing. We also have a stand by vehicle to carry injured persons to the nearest hospital if need arises. Written by Terry Nkhuwa (Field Officer).

ORDER CAMP PHOTOS

Download Order Form>>. There are at least twenty (20) photos available for each camp we have hosted. As a fund raising initiative, we are offering you, the parents, guardians, and campers, a chance to recapture the camping days, by ordering prints, PC photo designs or Videos of the Camp Photos. Some of the photos include Chat time, Counseling sessions/ bible study/Praise & Worship, Eating time, Fun time (mud) canoes and horses, Sports time, and Obstacle courses.

Our desire is to Capture every moment at camp, and build a huge archive, which will be used by every camper, and the organisation at large, as we forge on with our endeavor: Empowerment Through Sport.
