The Lord almighty has been gracious enough to me to inspire the formation of Harvesters in Sport Trust. Previously I served the Lord as a free lance missionary from 1998 to 2002. I only worked for 5 months in 2000 for the National Association of Societies for the Care of the Handicapped as a Program Officer where I put my Honors degree in Social Work acquired at the University of Zimbabwe to use.

I have done sports ministry, community development and Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) work in the Middle East (Iraq, Jordan, Palestine and Syria), East Africa (Ethiopia and Kenya), SADC region ( Mozambique, South Africa, Zambia, Malawi and Swaziland) etc. in total I visited over 15 countries as a free lance missionary being invited by various established international organizations.

The highlight of my missions work was participating in an exercise to re trace the footsteps taken by the biblical wise men in pursuit of baby Jesus. We therefore embarked on an inter country pilgrimage covering 1200 miles over a vast expanse of desert on foot and camel back. This exercise took me to four countries namely Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Israel. For more information log onto www.magijourney.org

I sincerely pray that some of you our readers may become partners and sponsors of this great work that lies before us. May we find new networks and open up new horizons as we EXCELLENTLY serve the Lord and empower communities because Harvesters in Sport is EMPOWERMENT.

LASTLY, I hope Harvesters in Sport Trust will meet the needs of Zimbabweans and will get to expand in the SADC region and beyond. It is an honor to have been used of the Lord to start this up and not import wholesale what the Lord inspired Europeans, Americans, Asians and fellow Africans to do. I pray we leave a legacy that someone will take up and keep Harvesters in Sport flame alive for centuries to come or till the Lord returns. AMEN.
